Inspired by the work of Peter Beard and Dan Eldon, I have been keeping personal journals since roughly the mid-90's, writing or drawing or collaging something almost every day. I uploaded some journal scans from the early 2000's to a then primitive website and eventually amassed multiple galleries of page after page from my journals. As the years went on, I found myself sketching and collaging less, the majority of the journals being more dedicated to writing. Due to the personal nature of these newer written entries, I ceased regular uploads of my artistic journals. Though I admire the time and care I put into these older journals, and sometimes even feel inspired to journal in that style again, I feel unsure about leaving older entries up, thinking that they no longer represent who I am as an artist. I still look back on them fondly and will consider a different approach to the JOURNAL section of my website and will possibly upload written entries in the future, catered towards a public audience.
